South Carolina Transfer MiLaysia Fulwiley Could Be Headed to LSU
Former South Carolina Gamecocks guard MiLaysia Fulwiley, now in the transfer portal, may remain in the SEC by potentially joining the LSU Tigers under head coach Kim Mulkey.
Last season, South Carolina boasted one of the deepest lineups in women’s college basketball, utilizing a 12-player rotation. Fulwiley, a dynamic sixth player, averaged 11.7 points per game in just under 19 minutes on the court.
With multiple top programs expressing interest in the star guard, Fulwiley’s next destination remains uncertain. Reports suggest LSU is actively pursuing her, though some speculate she may choose another Under Armour-affiliated school due to her endorsement deal with the brand. Notably, Fulwiley has her own signature shoe in the Stephen Curry line.
