Ferencváros Signs Leading Norwegian League Striker

Franck Boli, the top goal scorer in Norway’s most recent football season, has officially joined Ferencváros (FTC). The 25-year-old Ivorian striker made the move from Norwegian side Stabæk after netting 17 goals last season to become the league’s highest scorer. He has already scored 8 goals this season, arriving in Budapest with impressive form.

Born on December 7, 1993, in Yamoussoukro, Ivory Coast, Boli comes from a footballing background—his father, Fulbert Boli, was also a professional player and represented the Ivorian national team.

Primarily playing as a center-forward, Boli is a versatile attacker who can also operate as an attacking midfielder or on either wing. He began his professional career at the age of 19 with Stabæk, quickly establishing himself as a key player and scoring 13 goals by his third season.

After a brief spell in China, Boli returned to Norway, where he featured for Aalesunds FK before rejoining Stabæk. His 2018 season with the club was especially outstanding, as he clinched the league’s top scorer title.

Now, Boli embarks on a new chapter with Ferencváros, aiming to build on his success and contribute significantly to the club’s ambitions.
