Sahara Osborne-Ricketts Commits to Another Season with Swindon Town
Swindon Town is delighted to confirm that Sahara Osborne-Ricketts has signed a new deal to remain with the club for the upcoming season.
Osborne-Ricketts’ football journey began in grassroots football in Bullingdon, progressing through the Arsenal Ladies Academy and even featuring in the Women’s League Cup for Watford.
After leaving Abingdon Women, she joined Swindon Town last season and brought a wealth of experience to the squad. The seasoned defender made 26 appearances across all competitions and contributed three goals, playing a pivotal role in the team’s backline.
Manager Richard Wood and his squad are thrilled to retain Osborne-Ricketts’ experience and leadership as they prepare for what promises to be an exciting season ahead.
Speaking on her contract renewal, Osborne-Ricketts shared:
“I’m really excited for another season with Swindon. I’m thankful for the chance to continue being part of this club and can’t wait to be back on the pitch with the girls.
Everyone made me feel so welcome last season—the players, staff, and fans. It’s something I’ll always be grateful for, and I’m looking forward to continuing to grow together.”
