The Edmonton Oilers are set to face the Florida Panthers in a highly anticipated rematch of last year’s Stanley Cup Final. After defeating the Dallas Stars 6–3 in Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals, the Oilers secured their second consecutive conference title and a chance to avenge their previous loss to the Panthers .
In the 2024 Finals, the Panthers took an early 3–0 series lead, but the Oilers fought back to force a decisive Game 7. Ultimately, Florida clinched their first-ever Stanley Cup with a 2–1 victory in the final game.
The 2025 Stanley Cup Final will commence on Wednesday, June 4, at Rogers Place in Edmonton, marking the first time the Oilers have home-ice advantage in this year’s playoffs.
